Blast Theory is one of the leading artists' groups in Britain making interactive performances, installations, video and mixed reality projects. Combining rigorous research and development with leading edge technologies, their practice ranges across media and disciplines, taking risks and encouraging critical debate.

Mixed Reality Lab (MRL) is an interdisciplinary research initiative at the University of Nottingham. The MRL brings together leading researchers in Computer Science, Engineering and Psychology to research new technologies that merge the physical and digital worlds, focusing on playful, artistic and educational applications.

BT Exact’s radical multimedia lab has a track record of innovation in advanced multimedia technologies including virtual environments, virtual characters (avatars), mobile multimedia and content, next generation graphics technology, multimedia design and prototype creation.

Uncle Roy All Around You premiered at the ICA, London in May 2003.

The project is supported by Equator and the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council, Microsoft Research, an Innovation Award from the Arts & Humanities Research Board and the Interdisciplinary Arts Department of Arts Council England through the National Touring Programme.  Equator Website EPSRC Website AHRB Website Arts Council of England Website
